Collegiate Research Symposium

Every spring, the Rochester Local section of the American Chemical Society holds a symposium for undergraduate college students and Masters students to present their research, recognize awardees of the Undergraduate ACS Rochester Section Award, and listen to an outstanding chemist in their keynote lecture. Undergraduate students and Masters students are given the opportunity to present posters and give short talks. These presentations will be rated by judges and awards will be presented for the best poster and best talk at the end of the event.

As the location of the symposium rotates among the local colleges, this year’s Collegiate Research Symposium will be taking place at the University of Rochester on Saturday, April 9th, 2022. Registration for attendees and presenters is open now through mid-March by completing this google form. Abstracts are due Friday, March 4th, 2022 and abstracts will automatically be accepted to present at the symposium.

To promote greater representation and inclusivity for this event, an ASL interpreter will be available upon request. Please make sure to request any accommodations when registering for the event.

Take advantage of this opportunity to present your research in this year’s Rochester Collegiate Research Symposium!
