Welcome to the Rochester Local Section

The Mission of the Rochester Local Section

Connecting and empowering our members, local scientists and students through innovative chemistry programs and outreach.

The Rochester Section serves Monroe, Orleans, Genesee, Livingston, Ontario, and Wayne counties in upstate New York. Our members work for local employers such as Kodak, Xerox, and Bausch & Lomb. Many of our members are retirees with long successful careers. Members working in academia come from University of Rochester and other local institutions.  We also cater to the needs of student members at local colleges and universities.
