Requirements

Applications are now being accepted for the ACS Rochester Section Undergraduate Travel Grant Program. The Local Section will offer travel grants specifically for undergraduate students attending conferences in person in 2026 to help cover travel-related expenses.

Registration for the Spring ACS National Meeting, to be held March 22–26, 2026, in Atlanta, GA, is now open and will remain open through the end of the meeting. All award recipients must be registered for the meeting and have an abstract accepted for either oral or poster presentation. The in-person registration fee for undergraduate students is $125. Travel grants will provide up to $600 to support eligible travel expenses.

For students seeking funding to attend the Spring 2026 ACS National Meeting, all application materials must be submitted by 11:59 pm on February 23, 2026.

Please note that each research group is limited to one award, with a maximum of two awards per institution.

A completed application contains:
1) this form must be completed by the advisor (Advisor – ROC ACS Undergraduate Travel Award 2026).

2) a student-completed google form (Student – ROC ACS Undergraduate Travel Award 2026).

3) the student applicant must also email their CV to Dr. Jian Liu (kjlsch@rit.edu).
