The Rochester Section of the ACS is full of dedicated members who volunteer their time running our events and programs. They deserve an excellent website to promote and shine light on their work.

Some history…

Our website was hosted with a company called Webs.com for many years. Local Sections all over the country built websites on this platform. Local Sections experienced difficulty maintaining websites as quality of service declined over the years. In 2019, the ACS ceased providing web hosting through webs.com.

With this development, we have the exciting opportunity to remake our website on a new hosting platform more suitable for our needs. Today, we can more effectively promote events and programs supported by the Rochester Local Section. We have improved our ability to put out content on Social Media and communicate with our members in ways that are most effective to them.

I am looking forward to serving the Local Section as Webmaster and hope you will enjoy the improvements we are working to deliver.
